Muirfield Green Bed and Breakfast is the lovely historic home of John and Gilly Hendry, built in 1890 in the renowned 'Arts and Crafts' style.  Muirfield Green is located within the pretty coastal village of Gullane on Scotland's magnificent 'Golf Coast', with 21 golf courses within 18 miles. 

Uniquely situated just 7 metres from Muirfield golf course, home to The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (founded in 1744),  this is your perfect base when coming play the renowned championship course.  The 2013 Open Championship will be held here. 

Muirfield Green Bed and Breakfast offers superb, comfortable accommodation in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.  Quiet and private, the two guest bedrooms are accessed by separate entrance through a pretty courtyard garden.   Private parking and free wi-fi are available.

Contemporary en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating  stocked with complementary toiletries.  Connecting private sitting-room with 'mini-kitchen' provided with coffee/tea/milk etc.  Private laundry facilities.   A comfortable 3.6ft guest bed is available for a 3rd person for a small charge.   Books and magazines supplied for your use. 

The Garden Room: twin room £50.00

A sophisticated, cheerful bedroom with very comfortable twin beds,  peaceful outlook onto garden. Well stocked hospitality tray with coffee, tea, biscuits and water.  Contemporary bathroom with underfloor heating. Cosy reading area for relaxing with the paper or any of the interesting  books and magazines supplied for your enjoyment.

Awaiting you within walking distance is an excellent range of cafes, pubs and restaurants including the famous Old Clubhouse, the Golf Inn and La Potiniere. A welcome new addition is 'Chez Roux' at Greywalls Hotel, just a few steps away from Muirfield Green. Please let us know if we can make reservations for you.

Muirfield Green Cancellation Policies

A deposit secures your reservation.  We send you a booking confirmation by email.  In case of cancellation, we retain your deposit, setting it against any further booking.  We reserve the right to request full payment in advance.  No refund for cancellations made within 10  days of arrival date other than in case of death/serious illness, with provision of physician's certificate.  Travel insurance is recommended for unexpected cancellations.  We request that you leave your room(s) tidy and inform us of any breakages or damage.  We are not responsible or liable  for any loss or mishap to persons or property during your stay.  A deposit of £10.00 is required per room key with a charge of £25.00 made for lost sets.

Directions (from Edinburgh airport on request)

Follow A1 to Berwick, exit on A198 signposted to North Berwick. Duncur Road is the last road on the left leaving Gullane going towards North Berwick. It is unmarked but signed "Greywalls Hotel". From Dunbar/North Berwick direction, approach Gullane and turn right just at the 30mph road sign. Proceed SLOWLY over 3 speed bumps to the last white cottage on the left. Parking is off road facing the white wall.
