Muirfield Green Bed and Breakfast is the lovely historic home of John and Gilly Hendry, built in 1890 in the renowned 'Arts and Crafts' style.  Muirfield Green is located within the pretty coastal village of Gullane on Scotland's magnificent 'Golf Coast', with 21 golf courses within 18 miles. 

Uniquely situated just 7 metres from Muirfield golf course, home to The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers (founded in 1744),  this is your perfect base when coming to play the renowned championship course, where the 2013 Open Championship will be held.  (Note: we are closed during the Championship). 

As our guests discover, Muirfield Green Bed and Breakfast has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with comfortable accommodation.   Quiet and situated well apart for privacy,  our two guest bedrooms are accessed by separate entrance through a pretty courtyard garden.   Private parking and free wi-fi are available.

A stylish twin bedroom quietly overlooking courtyard garden.  Ultra comfy beds with 4" mattress toppers to just fall into...contemporary en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating  stocked with complementary toiletries.  Connecting private sitting-room with 'mini-kitchen' provided with coffee/tea/milk etc.  Private laundry facilities.   A comfortable 3.6ft guest bed is available for a 3rd person for a small charge.   Books and magazines supplied for your use. 

The Garden Room: twin room £50.00 

A sophisticated, cheerful bedroom with very comfortable twin beds,  peaceful outlook onto garden. Well stocked hospitality tray with coffee, tea, biscuits and water.  Contemporary bathroom with with underfloor heating, toiletries. Cosy reading area for relaxing with the paper or any of the interesting  books and magazines supplied for your enjoyment.

Awaiting you within walking distance is an excellent range of cafes, pubs and restaurants including the famous Old Clubhouse, the Golf Inn and La Potiniere. A welcome new addition is 'Chez Roux' at Greywalls Hotel, just a few steps away from Muirfield Green. Please let us know if we can make reservations for you.

From Dunbar/North Berwick direction, approach Gullane and turn right just at the 30mph road sign. Proceed SLOWLY over 3 speed bumps to the last white cottage on the left. 2013 Open Championship at Muirfield: Muirfield Green is available to let as a whole house to one party.  Enquiries to: info@muirfieldgreen.com.    The Bed and Breakfast facility will be closed.  A limited supply of b&b accommodation in private houses in Gullane may become available.   Enquiries welcome as above.
