John and Gilly Hendry  warmly welcome you to Muirfield Green,  situated  in the pretty and unspoilt  village of Gullane in East Lothian.  A golfer's paradise, we are a mere 21ft or 7 metres from the renowned Muirfield Golf Course and close to Gullane's own  3 courses.  Close by are  Luffness New, Archerfield,  The Renaissance, Dunbar &  North Berwick courses.   Walkers and bird watchers enjoy the wide sandy bays abundant with wildlife  and John Muir coastal walk paths.   Gullane has a wide range of good  tea & coffee shops as well as   excellent pubs & restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.   

Accommodation is of a high quality yet very  comfortable; our guests stay in the   renovated 19thC cottage attached to our own home,  an historic Grade "A" Listed house  built in 1890.  Bedrooms are private and peaceful, overlooking two sunny courtyard gardens. With the emphasis on comfort, we offer our guests  comfortable beds, crisp white linen, large towels and the added  luxury of underfloor heating in each en-suite bathroom.  

A feature appreciated by visitors is the separate entrance to the cottage through the potager garden,   ensuring complete independence and privacy.   Breakfast is taken in the dining room in the main house.

Breakfast

Tariff includes our delicious and wholesome breakfast:  seasonal fruit salad;  porridge, muesli &  cereals;  local organic eggs; croissants, muffins or scones; home made jams.   Plain and fruit yoghurts, fresh fruit juices plus a selection of teas and coffee are  also served.    

A full traditional breakfast is available for a £5.00 supplement.  Individual dietary needs and children's likes  are catered for with advance notice. 

 

Reservations Policies

A non refundable deposit of £25.00 per room booked secures your reservation.

 

The balance is payable on arrival unless advised otherwise.

Directions

From Edinburgh, proceed through Gullane. Take last (unmarked) lane on the left signposted "Greywalls Hotel"

From Dunbar/North Berwick direction, approach Gullane, turn right just at the 30mph road sign.

Proceed SLOWLY over 3 speed bumps to the last white cottage on the left.   Parking is off road facing the white wall. 

 

 

2013 Open Championship at Muirfield: Muirfield Green is available to let as a whole. Enquiries to info@muirfieldgreen.com.

The bed and breakfast facility will be suspended during the championship.
